OLD AND ORANGE

A few times a month I visit our thriftstore. It's relaxing, so I often walk there or take my bike. I love the fact that you don't know what they have to sell. Crafts stuff is lesser than before, but our house is full, so that's okay. I just love to take a look, though I know people that never would buy anything from this store.

So I went with my DD3 last Saturday, it was beautiful weather to go outside. She often comes with me to buy a nice belt, or a little can.
This time I found an old craftsbox. It was only € 3,- so I picked it up and bought it. At such time, I'm not thinking about a place to store it, it just comes with me. But when I have it in the house, that's a little issue. It's in our livingroom right now, but only for a visit; I have to find a new place to enjoy it.

After finishing the block of the Village of Hawk Run Hollow, I took again my crochet-hook and started a new little project, again for the celebrations of Queensday on April 30th. I have so much yarn laying around and it's wonderful some get used now.
The orange garland is the result, that orange yarn is gone now and I think I'll stop making stuff for Queensday. The pattern is from the Dutch book on the picture, it's a great book with lots of ideas for kids.
I have to go looking for some Easter-designs... (only 11 days).

Your orange garland and your craft box are lovely. I really enjoy visiting thrift stores and it's something that Max and I try to do together once in awhile. (The other kids are still too young.)
