Nu daarbij: harde wind om het huis die heel veel boom-afval bracht en het constante getik tegen de ramen van de 'helikoptertjes'. Je zag ze letterlijk door de lucht vliegen de hele dag.
En 's avonds temperaturen om een extra vest aan te trekken.
DS heeft ook al een eigen verzameling opgebouwd om ons huis in herfstsferen te brengen.
Het nieuwe Christmas Ornaments Issue van Just Cross Stitch is uit en lag vandeweek al in m'n brievenbus. De opbouw is iets veranderd en naar ik denk ook de kwaliteit van het papier. Deze is minder stevig en nu al wat meer verfrommeld dan m'n eerdere nummers. Maar ze blijven leuk! Ik ga er vast snel een uit maken...
Sowieso heb ik geen wílde plannen, maar ik ben toch aan het rommelen om te bekijken welk patroon eens geborduurd wil worden. Het enige is dat ik voel dat m'n schouders wat protesteren de laatste tijd. Met m'n slijmbeursontsteking-ervaring van eerder zal ik dat maar als een waarschuwing beschouwen :-(.
Fall has arrived! We had signs before, but yesterday the weather was there: wind and rains and all kinds of tree-leftovers came down... You can see on the pictures which tree has lost a lot of stuff yesterday.
We burned our fire place for the first time after the Summer last Friday so the house smelled like it. My DH has made another applepie... So all things together made us realise: Winter is coming!
The chestnuts are collected by our DS, he has been busy with it for a few weeks, but we agreed we have enough now. We use this basket as a fall-ornament.
The JCS christmas ornaments collection is out and already in my possesion. Because we don't live in the US, it takes more time to get these issues in the Netherlands. But I think I got it in my mailbox very soon and I'm very happy with it. The ornaments are great, but I think they have used a different kind of paper, this magazine already looks older than the issues I have at home from earlier years.
I'm planning to start another stitching project, but I'm looking through my pile and have not decided yet which one. My shoulders are hurting too, so I'm taking that as a warning to take it easy, even with stitching.
