ZOLDER - THE ATTIC

Ons huis is in het gelukkige bezit van twee zolders.

De eerste, grote zolder is netjes.

Er zijn twee slaapkamers, luiken en opbergkasten. 

Het tweede zoldertje is van het bakhuus. 

Oud, rieten matjes als vloerbedekking, platen tegen de schuine wanden. 

En onze stouw-plek: we stouwen er alles waarvan we denken: even wegleggen... 

Er ligt inmiddels heel wat.

Toen ik naar de jute zocht (zie gisteren) kwam ik bijvoorbeeld ook dit borduurpakket tegen.

 

Een  beetje het oude verhaal: zo'n pakket 'red' ik uit de kringloopwinkel, maar zelf borduur ik het ook niet.

Mocht iemand interesse hebben in zo'n compleet pakket, een schellekoord, dan stuur ik het graag naar je op. De verzendkosten krijg ik dan wel graag vergoed.

En als er niemand reageert, dan krijg ik graag toestemming om het pakket uit elkaar te halen en de onderdelen los te gebruiken :-))

Our (old) house is so lucky, it has two atticks!

The first, a big one, is neat: there are two bedrooms, storage space and closets.

Everything is on its place.

So the other attick... is our place to store everything else, just for the moment.

That means it's a place that quickly got filled with the not-to-urgent.

 When I was looking for the jute (from yesterday's post), I found this cross stitch project.

I 'rescued' it from the thrift store, but to be honest without the intention of ever really stitch it.

So when I came across it, I took it down with me.

Now you get a quick look, with me asking: is there anyone out there who likes this package of cross stich supllies?
There are all African symbols on it, you cross stitch this one in a vertical line.
In Dutch we call this a 'schellekoord', I don't know the English word for it.

I'll send it out to the first one who responds with a positive answer. 

Posting expenses for the receiver...

And...if no one is interested, I need your approval to take the package and divide it into usable parts for myself.. :-)
